the recording is awesome i bought it at 10 am today but i got one question:
Did they cut out some parts in "He's not yet dead"?
also a small review:
It's great to actually here what they say in the show(when i saw it well i was laughing to hard to hear anything)
Lots of pics in the booklet too

I havne't seen this show yet, and I doubt i'll see unless it tours, so should i get the CD? I mean is the music good enough to listen to on CD or is it more "show based."
I just started listening to mine and it is HILLARIOUS so far. I am on "The Song that Goes Like This." HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
The music holds it on and is very funny! I say you should probably buy it. (and this is from someone who does not care for the show) If you watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail you can see a good deal of the skits anyway. Also the show will almost certainly tour.
I pre ordered this when I saw the show in early March . Hope they mailout soonest!!!

The full CD is avaliable at iTunes, if anybody wanted to know...
Just purchased it off iTunes. Rather funny indeed!
wasnt there talk that there would be some cut songs on it like BURN HER and the cow song? i wish they had put those on there....
Its staring at me right now from my desk.
Yep,THAT was an efficient use of my lunch break.
I didn't hear any talk about adding cut songs, but they aren't on the CR (picked it up Sunday at the theatre).
I haven't been able to stop listening to it. I don't know what's with me!
Question about DL from I-Tunes... how much does it cost? I heard it was 99 cents per track and that would make cast albums $21 or more. And what about the booklet/j-card? How do you get those?
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
In like New York Magazine there was an interview with Eric Idle and he said that the Cow song would be on the CD. Sad that it isn't since he said it would be.
I really want this!!

Perhaps my expectations were too high--as I seem to be a bit underwhelmed by the score. Anyone else?

I happened to walk through the electronics department at WalMart and there it was! I listened to it in the car, its very funny. I highly suggest it!
frontrowcentre2: iTunes allows you to purchase individual songs for $.99 or you can buy the full album for much cheaper. SPAMALOT is going for $11.99, but you may want to purchase a "hard" copy for the pictures and the tangibility of it all. It is about the same price in stores today!
Going to the show on Saturday Evening and I am very excited to see it live!

I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! Little Women is good too. What a GREAT day for cast recording releases, and we get DRS next Tuesday - WOOHOO!!
It looks like "The Cow Song" isn't on it as I saw the track listing on the Footlight website
It does not appear most of the songs are long in length. Probably DRS has a better score & if Spam has to win best musical I hope DRS wins best score
Only 52 minutes of music makes me wonder if they could have put some more on there.
They could have put The Cow Song plus the 3 "farting"songs Idle says he composed & said Nichols would not use
It is starting to look like Spamalot is an uneducated lowlife dressed up in a tuxedo. It looks like it is all hype. After 5/27, I will know for sure
