I saw FB:SS as well, but was unimpressed
Hope you have fun though! It is another script
Summer Shock ended.
I saw the new version this week and it is really better.
Defying Chenowith is my new favorite number
I also love the I AM MY OWN WIFE skit
The ASSASSINS SKIT (FUNNY)
The cast are great see it now.
David is touring in Le Miz and he has a great voice.
Gerard's show is faboo.
Have fun.
I still miss the classics and I told that to Gerard.
Chita Rita is my favorite skit but Gerard says no one gets it anymore.

I can't wait to see this. It sounds like it is going to be a blast.
It is very good.
I hope David Benoit is in Sunday, his Harvey is so good it is really eerie.
I think David Benoit would make the best Edna in Hairspray.
SENDS NOTE TO Marc Shaiman.
David is the perfect EDNA.
Perfect in every way.

Thanks everyone! I'm super excited. I love Chita Rita. It's one of my fav's. My mom isn't very "cultured" when it comes to theater so I know I'm gonna be explaining everything to her the whole show! :-P
So Defying Chenoweth is in the show? yay! I've been looking for lyrics to that song for the longest time. Now I actually get to hear it!
:)
Chita Rita is no longer in.
Hope you have a great time.

BJC899, oy vey, if you think that your mother will be bad....
When I saw it, half of the audience had NO IDEA what was going on. You heard "What?" going on a lot, and I heard the tourists cursing the show as they left the theater.
My friend and I were dying of laughter, like, we were practically shrieking during some great parts of the show- and some people looked at us like we were insane, and I heard someone say "What are they laughing at? I don't get this show."
If you understand theater you will laugh so hard tears will go down your face.
I was practically screaming with laughter in the I AM MY OWN WIFE number but I was one of the only people that got it.
It was a Tuesday night.
The more theater you see the more you understand FB.
The tourists got the Le Miz, Phantom, Beauty, Lion King numbers.
SO SAD.

I was definitely scream/laughing during the Defying Chenoweth number.
It took a minute for the I AM MY OWN WIFE skit to sink in...but I eventually got it!
Most of the theater only understood the Nicole Kidman skit. Blah. What a great show, if you know what they're talking about.
