grad acting question

I was wondering if anyone had attended (or was planning on applying and therefor knew a lot about) the grad acting departments at Yale , NYU, or Julliard and wouldn't mind answering a few questions? Like did you take a few years between undergraduate and graduate? Thank you.

did anyone who went through these graduate programs NOT major in theatre as an undergrad?

I've met several of the MFA students at Tisch and none has started right after completing their undergrad. All have been working actors. Can't think of any who weren't drama majors in undergrad. Very competitive program, they only take 16 a year.
