a little late, but there is a great doc on sundance channel right now about Hair," the movement, not the show that's on broadway now," as Ben Vereen says in the opening. this is a great doc with lots of interviews and vintage photos and clips. Over 30 million people saw the original. This has shown before, but worth a watch.
