No.

You'd hear the screams, police sirens and the shattering of breaking glass if they were.

Didn't Matthew lose his mother shortly after the return? Of course he'd be off then, right?

Roger Bart was off one night. I don't know if he was off or ill, however.

Matthew's mother actually died in November, before he returned to the show.

OT, but the last post reminded me: In 1970, I saw THE ROTHSCHILDS on b'way, the show that won Hal Linden a Tony. For years I thought I'd seen Linden, until I found the old playbill when moving, and saw the slip stuck in the back. In my fervor, I didn't even take note. The understudy (sorry, sir, your name escapes me)looked like Linden, sang like Linden, and wherever else they posted it a the Lunt-F., it wasn't prominent. Anyone else ever have this happen??

I'm assuming Matthew will NOT be in LA today with Sarah for the Golden Globes. Uh oh! If she should win, will she remember to thank him this time or will we be in for a new round of rumors?

LOL.
Did you see the interview with SJP after she won? She said something in her speech about not getting beat up this time by her husband (or something like that) and she explained it in a n interview after she won. Matthew actually called her on her cell phone during the interview since all of it was live and everything. It was cute.
