A new album, you say? Do you know anything about it? Is this gonna be another R&B album that doesn't show off her amazing vocal talents at all?

After seeing her in Aida, I was so excited that she was putting out a solo album because she's got a very impressive gift ~ and then we got This is Who I Am. I was rather disappointed, and I know some of her other fans were too.

But, if this is what makes her happy, then I hope she finds her happiness.

Have a good day!

Let's hope this album is better than the last one? I found it to be such a disappointment.

Her album was a cater to the mainstream.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

I hope some of you caught the annual Kennedy Center Honors last December. Heather gave a wonderful performance of honoree Elton John's "Your Song". She was awesome backed with a huge choir. Fantasia also sang the hell out of one of his songs too. A great evening. I recommend it as a yearly treat. Updated On: 2/8/05 at 02:30 PM

Saw her in DisneyWorld this past holiday season. She was one of the guest readers at the "Candlelight Processional"- She was great !!! Hubby was in the audience, and they kept giving eachother "the look". So cute !!

I saw Heather's performance at the Kennedy Center Honors and wasn really disappointed. She sounded nothing like she did when she was in AIDA. It was like her voice had deteriorated from overuse which is unlikely because she hasn't done many live performances since AIDA. It was sad.

I thought she sounded incredible in the Kennedy Honors. She got up there and showed Fantasia how its done. She was so composed and relaxed. Vocally, I didn't notice anything wrong with her. Her first album was pretty mainstream and didn't show her off the way I would've liked either. The best song is the last one, which she said was for her theatre audience. Duh- because it actually sounds like a SONG?! Hopefully her next album will be a stronger mix. She was singing "Home" from the WIZ recently so maybe a Pop/R&B version of that will end up on the album. Hope so. It's probably going to take a lot to get her back to Bway.

Heather's BIGGEST Fan Here!! :-P

Being that her solo debut "This Is Who I Am" went Gold and garnered her various award nominations, she has been allowed back into the studio and is working on her sophomore effort.
True, her debut did absolutely nothing to showcase those Broadway Pipes - those who've seen this woman live (or own any of her OBC recordings) know what she's capable of.

Last year she did a one-night-only concert at the New Amsterdam theatre entitled "Home". There she performed SHOW STOPPING renditions of several of her favorite bway tunes (including 'Home') as well as songs from her solo debut - including a few covers.

I for one can hardly wait for the launch of her new cd and website. Hopefully, this cd will be 10X better than the first.
