help! audition songs...

please help me find an audition song. i'm auditioning for "Annie" next week, and I could ask my voice teacher, but I figured I'd see what people on this website think =D. I don't know what song to sing. I am a coloratora soprano and I'm 14 years old. I don't even think they need a coloratora in "Annie", even though I was in it already but still haha. Please help me find a song!

do you belt/have a mix at all? that would be better suited for annie than a classical coluratura

the only role you would be suited for is grace... and that part depends if you're auditioning for a production with adults... if not then you stand a chance. if there are then you probably are not right for this show. sorry.

that makes me a bit upset =. but I guess you're right. There are adults. I can belt, however. There's really no list of songs I have. I can sing mostly anything. My voice spans about four octaves. I will also be auditioning for Godspell. any ideas for that?

you need to give us some of your repertoire. if you can belt, how high can you belt?

would you settle for being one of the older orphans, like Pepper or something? I think you may be a bit old, and not the right voice for Annie. Sorry!

another pretty tough show for a coluratura.

is this community theatre stuff? it sounds kinda like it (just b/c of the shows they're choosing and the fact that there are adults involved....etc.)

try to find groups that are doing more classic musicals, there will be way more stuff for sopranos.
