high school hellish theater!

hey everybody-
I live in a very small town and am a huge theater nerd and have always done the shows here and work very hard at it and am pretty good. The thing is all the shows ive done in my hometown have been with the same directors and they really have never liked me and have never given me anything great. this year really topped it off. We are doing Dames at Sea. holy S*** could there be a worse show>?!?!? it is not my style at all and i can't stand it. The thing that just makes it awful is that the leads are sooo weak!! They are easily the worst singers and they are Ruby and Dick. Why do directors do this. I know there are ppl out there that are dealing with **** like this at least i hope so! i dont wanna be alone!!! lol anyways i thought we could vent! thanks everybody

My friend was like, the best actress in my Drama class and she got a really crappy part in some stupid parody show we did. It was lame.

trust me, I've got it the worst. My entire town has the same directors! Since I was 8 through middle school through high school, these people have directed every student show. I have to go out of town to act. THey are awful! And they can't stand me! I can be a lead in a show out of town and then in school i'm lucky if I make the cut. At least you do muscials people have accaully heard of!
