does anyone know of any of the musicals that they are producing for school editions like Les Miserables.....ive heard miss saigon but thats all???

They just came out with a Ragtime school edition. I dont know if its available for licensing yet though. Check on their website:

Posted: 4/16/06 at 10:40pmthey are currently working on Miss Saigon, a tentative version premiered at a high school in my area and was extremely well receieved. i also recently auditioned for the working production of their school edition ragtime. so those are the two i know of. i also know that west side story, children of eden, and sweeny todd (semi-based on the current revival) are in the works for school editions.

Posted: 4/17/06 at 1:22amI don't see the reasoning behind a school edition of Aida. I've seen several high school productions that used the full script and score without problem.

Posted: 4/17/06 at 6:46pmAida i think is pointless. i'm anxious for sweeny and children of eden! i love COE and if this brings it into high schools more accesibly! great! it's schwartz best score! but the les miz, and saigon editions are great! so i have faith in MTI!
