anyone know im curious, because it doesent look like a eq

AND THE WAY I WROTE IT BEFORE IS HOW REAL ACTORS SAY IT , so im sorry i just realized that there arent any eq actors on here

well definations

eq - equity

non-eq - non equity

so theres an explanation

It's an AEA Experimental Touring Contract E....and rehearsals are going GREAT and the cast is AMAZING!! It promises to be a hot tour!

Bottom line the show is Equity, Equity has different contracts. They really have to do with pay and the way things are run with the show. But it's not non-equity, you will more than likely be able to tell by the set or costumes. Non-equity is very cheap at times

Atlsuperstar, you are right about the costumes and sets on non-eq tours as they are usually the left-overs from Eq tours. HOWEVER...that is NOT the case with the ASU tour. The sets that were on Bway are being rebuilt and made better for touring and the costumes are being refurbished and MANY are being built from scratch, so this will be a fantastic looking show as well as performed by a truly talented cast.
As for the contract, it pays a bit less than the full production contract which saves the producers money. But rest assured the cast is a full Equity company and you will get all that comes with that.

Wicked, no disrespect but to say that there are no equity actors on here is kinda ignorant. Especially since you already have 2 including me responding to your thread. More importantly equity or not, a good show is a good show. You learn more from this business by being in it, and asking questions. Not just stating things your not sure of. lol
