I am looking to buy jersey boy tickets for the august wilson theatre. When doing a search for these tickets I am noticing seats described as balconly A are much cheaper, however when I look at a seating chart I cannot find these seats?? Can anybody tell me where these seats are and if they are worth purchasing??
Where are you purchasing the tickets from?
Telecharge or a theatre broker.
I have seen the show numerous times and have sat in practically
all of the seats, so I can give you honest opinion here.
If you purchased the tickets on telecharge there is a seating
chart, look at your seats on that chart.
Any other questions, please ask, maybe I can help.

Thanks for you response. I believe it is a theatre broker (some different sites on the internet) and they all describe these seats as balcony A. In the seating chart I don't see these seats. I'm wondering if it is part of the mezz??? I'm just coming to new york for a vacation so I'm not at all familiar with the theatre. Any help you can give me would be great!
Thanks again
If it says Balcony A, I would assume it is really one of the first two rows of the rear Mezz.
Could be the very last row - only row that's not labeled on the seating chart:

At the August Wilson theatre there is no balcony.
On top is the Mezzanine section.
I will tell you from experience, Don't sit there. You would not be able to appreciate the show. Try to sit downstairs unless you are the first couple of rows in the Mezz.
I have even sat in row P in orchestra and it was not that bad.
The same night a friend of mine was upstairs in Mezz in the back. She did not think the show was that great that night.
Then I took her again just a month ago and we sat in row B right orchestra. OMG! she said. What a difference! She absoutlely loved it and can't wait to go again. You see when you are that close you get to see the expressions on the actors faces and really feel like you are part of the show. It is an amazing experience. Try to sit downstairs like I said.
Also let me know your dates, I may have an extra ticket.
I have tickets in hand for January. IF something comes up and I don't use them, Your welcome to them.
Regards,
A true Jersey Boys Fan!
