Hamilton is like South Pacific Fun Home is like Kiss Me Kate. Fun Home will be overwhelmed by Hamilton the Musical

Are you trying to say that Hamilton will overshadow Fun Home, therefore it will end up closing earlier than expected?

BOTH Kiss me Kate and South Pacific had nice long runs. I don't think Hamilton will really effect Fun Home that much as it is the Best Musical right now, and its in a small house.

yes thats what I was saying. I just have that feeling. The funny thing is that the producers of Hamilton have done one pulitzer nominated and one pulitzer winning show. And they are still quite young

The problem with your theory is that Hamilton is basically sold out for 6 months as of now and will undoubtedly be sold out for another 6 months in fairly short order. Therefore, people coming to town and  loking for shows when they get here (as most tourists do) will not have the option of seeing Hamilton unless they want to pay dearly in the secondary market (which most don't). To me, any softening of demand for Fun Home during the coming season will be a function of other shows coming in that might get a buzz. (The same is true for quite a few other shows from the class of 2014-15 that are currently doing well. This is a very normal thing.)
