I heard a lot of shows are closed this weekend for Labor Day. Anybody know which shows are open or not?

Everything's open this weekend. Most shows are dark on Monday anyway.

my boyfriend works as a concierge at a hotel and a lot of guests said that they were having problems b/c shows were closed for the weekend. I'm hoping they meant monday and just didn't understand how broadway works!

I bet that's what happened -- they saw that there was no performance on Monday and assumed it was because of Labor Day. But, as for today and tomorrow, after the absolute blood bath this week has been at the box office for shows (the worst numbers since 9/11), can you imagine any show just taking off the weekend because of the holiday?? Never happen....

Actually Frogs is dark for Sunday and Monday making the switch into September when they will begin playing Sunday and taking Monday off instead of the reverse (which they did for the summer).
With that exception I don't know of anything that is closed for two days...most just dark on Mondays as usual.

i know most shows are dark mondays but some are open. does anyone know which out of the shows w/ monday performances are performing on labor day?
