I was thinking about this recently. I wouldn't say something like "I doubt it"--in a recent interview here on BWW she does talk about how it will always be a dream of hers to play Eponine, so it has to have crossed her mind that the role she was originally offered will be right there whenever she leaves
Spring Awakening. But Foster is right--as much as I, other BWWers, and even Lea herself might love to see her in the role, she would be wise to stay away from it and go on to originate new roles. Don't mean to sound like a snob, because I love
Les Miz, but it would be almost beneath her. She needs to get a few more things under her belt first...otherwise a turn as a replacement Eponine would seem like a step backwards.
