is this a good school show? whats the plot?
i remember seeing a somewhat recent (last 10 years) movie that involves a school putting on this show. what movie was it?

I did this in high school, and while it's certainly not the best show out there, it's fun to do. It's the story of Ellie Greenwich, the writer of lots of popular '50s songs. She meets Jeff Barry, another writer/producer, marrys him, and also works with the famous Phil Spector. There's several lead singings roles, and we had a big dancing ensemble. It's really a lot of fun. You've got to have 3 girls with strong solo voices to pull it off.

Posted: 5/5/05 at 6:40pmI think this would be a great show for schools. It was fun on Broadway with a cast that included Annie Golden, Darlene Love, Pattie Darcy, and Patrick Cassidy. The songs are GREAT.
