could the lightning theif musical transfer? i haven't heard or seen it but, what are your opinions?

It's a fun show and the music is well written but the production is high end children's theater. It works very well in the Lortel but I can't see it being a full fledged Broadway scaled show.

I heard the earlier version was a 1 hour children's version. But then they expanded it to a full-length adult version at the Lortel Theater which I highly enjoyed; it's a high energy rock musical with outstanding singing. This could do quite well at a place like New World Stages.

Not sure what it means but on Chris McCarrell's Instagram post about the show closing he wrote, "And who knows we still may got some swords up our sleeves..."

I think it should release a cast recording and gain a huge cult following and go from there, like heathers. I personally feel like it belongs off broadway.
