Out Tonight...is just a trainwreck.

In my opinion, they really ruined it.

The only song that is bearable is probablly Another Day.I haven't heard all of them though.

I've seen this version twice (the second time admitedly because it was half 6 on a saturday night and no where else had cheap tickets)It still holds a glimmer of the original power (i love the beggining, and any time Luke Evans opened his mouth)i still think it would have been more sucessful if they had made less drastic changes or just left it alone.

On another note, Out Tonight made me want to rip of my own ears first time, second time, with the displeasure of Siobhan Doherty i also wanted to rip my eyes out. Never in my life have i seen a worse potryal of character.

It's weird to me that RENT will be available as a choice for High School drama departments to put on. I think I can see COLLEGE students doing it. How could you possibly change so many things that High School parents would be opposed to and it still get across the same message? It's so completely about acceptance of people that might be different than yourself - that I just can't imagine it being produced in High School theatres; not in Texas, anyway.
