Lestat casting
hmm...boublil/schonberg...-ish....
That sucks that there isn't much in the way of women parts. I really want to see it though.

What part did Michael Arden read for? From the descriptions, he's perfect for all of the male roles, except the older vampire.

when it says Equity Principal Auditions, does that mean you have to be equity to audition?
No, but they won't see you until ALL equity members are seen. So you're not guaranteed an audition, even if you wait the entire time.

I actually think that Hugh Panaro would make a great vampire. With Phantom, he's got the darker role experience under his belt. But that's just me... Ha ha! :)

P.S. - Besides, I think he needs to originate another role on Bway and win his Tony.
Michael Arden workshopped the role of Louis (Brad Pitt's character in the INTERVIEW movie).
Will James Barbour stay in ? He was in the workshop.
I am anxiously awaiting this one. I have been an Anne Rice fan for ages and am very interested to see how this plays out
Gee I wish they'd put the vocal range of the characters in the breakdown. Someone who'd read the books told me that Marius is a redhead and similar to my type - I think I'll audition for this one!
I dont recall Marius being redheaded..infact I think he was blonde, but hair dye is a wonderful either way. Marius is a wonderful character. Go for it and Break a Leg!
Also, I will be intrigued to see who they cast as Claudia. Where will they find a child with that much talent and the ability to protray the most evil of all Vampires? Maybe if they hold off until Britney Spears has her baby and cast it. Anything raised by Britney would have to fall under the category of evil
