i love matthew morrison...so imagine my surprise and excitement last night when he walked right into the restaurant that i work with his (i assume) girlfriend. I actually worked up the courage to talk to him later in the evening (i HAD to know if it was definitely him!), and he was extremely nice and gracious.
It made my night :)

Heh. I worked at a soccer camp and I thought Daphne Ruben Vega's son was one of my chirrun. (This woman looked exactly like her. Down to the beauty marks.)

hahaha that's hilarious-- are you suuuure it wasn't her?...when i first talked to matt i said to him, "i might be crazy..but were you in Hairspray?" and he looked at me very seriously and said "What's that?" oh my gosh tooootally fooled me for a second but then he started laughing and admitted that it was, indeed him. :)

aww Matty. I've only seen him from afar at the BC/EFA flea market last year. But he just seem really nice and down to earth.
It's so neat that you got to see him. :)

Posted: 1/27/06 at 8:14pmI've seen him around Times Square many times, but have only talked to him once, outside of the Gershwin on Shoshana's first night (for the record I was not there becuase it was Shosh's first night but because I got the tickets for Christmas).

I've never really had an accidental meeting with a Broadway star, but I'm not really in New York enough to have one...

When I saw The Producers, I was at the stage door and Matt came up (they were having somethign at Sardi's that afternoon), and was talking to Angie Schworer. I must have made a funny face, because he looked at me and smiled, as though he was waiting for me to say hello or somehting. I was too shy, and just smiled, so he left.
