Posted: 6/10/06 at 9:30amok, so did anyone get to see it. Im currious what you all thought. i was convinced it was an AMAZING community theatre production, not a tour. i have seen a few other non union tours and this to me looked like the saterday night fever tour... eeek

I just posted my review. I really did enjoy it, save for the overblown acoustics.

the sound was HORID!!! the sets moved the entire time when they were not suposed to, wigs were loose, acting was ok, sing had a few LOW points and i was just overal not impressed. i do belive the cast is VERY talented, this just was not the right fit show for any of them. you could not compare the show to the obc or even the 1st tour

I was a huge fan of the Broadway production. I guess it is better not to see it. I will keep my Millie feeling intact.
I loved Harriet as Mrs Meers. The woman from Designing Women was horrid. (My dream role so I would hate to see it done badly)
Harris was outstanding!

Posted: 6/10/06 at 11:24amI thought the Mrs. Meers was comedic, fresh, and full of talent. It is hard to live up toa tony winning performer, but she really was delightful.
