anyone think it would actually work as a stage show? (nicole kidman and ewan mcgregor version)
i love the movie, and i think that if the right director, it could be a really good production. possibly.

Posted: 6/2/05 at 7:15amI know when La Boheme was on B-way, Baz mentioned that he was working on a stage adaptation of Moulin Rouge and Strictly Ballroom. I, personally, would rather see Strictly Ballroom adapted. It has all the elements that I think would make up a good adaptation.

I wonder how much the rights fees from all the disparate musicians would cost.
I'm sure it was an issue for the movie as well, movies tend to be more lucrative I would assume.

The truly beautiful should be lawfully restricted from wearing clothing; and the truly butt-ugly should be lawfully mandated from going naked.
