quick question:

a friend was telling me there is a rule/law/guideline that broadway shows have to be cast, with a percentage of the cast being non-caucasian.
Just wondering if there is any truth to this??

I highly doubt there is any ruling to this...look at the cast of The Phantom of the Opera, which is almost always 100% caucasian cast. I'm sure Equity intercedes when their is discrimination against those opf other races, but that's a
different situation.

How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

That is completely false. I should know the exact Equity rule, but I believe that Broadway productions are required to allow actors of any ethnicity to AUDITION at open calls regardless of their casting intentions, I could be wrong. But they are certainly not REQUIRED to cast a certain percentage of minorities in any given production.
