music man auditions

I am auditioning for music man next month (just for the ensemble) but I need 16 bars of an uptempo and 16 bars of a ballad. I was thinking lower alto/ mezzo belty uptempo song and a soprano ballad.... but nothing new because the music man is so classic... anyone have suggestions/ sucessful songs they've used?
