thanks ya'll!
i *knew* someone would be dissappointed that Andre wasnt there.
& i thought about including him, but i wanted to draw my experience.
this is the first XANADU image i drew.
later the same night i saw XANADU, while i was still high from the show, i got a phone call that a family member, the prettiest one of all of us, had suddenly & unexpectedly died. she was the same age as me. the next day i stayed home & drew this picture, crying & listening to SUSPENDED IN TIME on endless repeat. i put everything i wanted to say about her (& to her) into this image of Kira.
that story isnt for sympathy, its just to explain how i drew such a sad image from such a happy show!
