Do you ever wonder if "they" (Sony pictures, Chris Columbus, RENT cast and staff) are aware that the trailer is leaking out on the net, and getting massive downloads on about 4 different forums? Do you think that they would be a little annoyed or whatever...??
I dunnO...i'm just being a lil' tedious at the moment...

Yes, I'm aware I'm a terrible person (granted it's RENT so it's justified) *slaps wrist*

Posted: 6/3/05 at 2:48amBWW just gave the link to the site that is actually allowed to show it. Trailers sometimes do show up online (legally) a few days before they come out attached to movies in theatres... I'm not suprised, because the minute they come out anywhere, some fan sneaks a video camera in to make a bootleg. Though I would never do that myself, I'd be lying if I said i'd never watched one!

Someone posted here a few days ago saying that Rosario Dawson said she had heard there was a bootleg online, but it was really bad quality. So they are probably aware of it, especially since this is yet another thread talking about it.

Well considering Anthony Rapp used to post on bww, and still reads the boards.. It's probably safe to guess they know..

The Canadian site put up a completely legitimate trailer -- it was just too early (supposedly). I'm sure they know this thing has made its way around the world about five times by now.
