I was just looking around for you. I've never before realized how tricky is is to find a song that is both "cute, fun, perky" and "alto". Good grief! Maybe these?
A Bushel and a Peck (Guys & Dolls)
I Know Things Now (Into the Woods)
My school just did Grease a couple of weeks ago. Which part are you looking at?

"My New Philosohy" or "Little Known Facts" from Your a Good Man Charlie Brown might work.
I second "I Know Things Now", it is a great audition piece.
Or you might try "Shy" from "Once Upon a Mattress"
Definatly "My new philosiphy" and like i told an other girl, "Gorgeous" from The Apple Tree very cute piece.
Im looking at Marty or Jan.
Freddy my Love and Mooning, hmmmmm

How about...
"Popular" from Wicked (if you have the score or can wait for the sheet music book)
"If Momma Was Married" from Gypsy (although it is a duet)
"When You're A Copa Girl" from Copacabana is an BRILLIANT gem in a relatively dim score.
"My Strongest Suit" from Aida
"Dancing All the Time" from Big
"I Want it All" from Baby
