ok...so Im a highschool girl 16 years old, auditioning for a part in "Grease" for my highschool drama dept. next year. I don't sing very often, but Im not so bad at it. Im an alto, and I need a cute, fun, perky peice.
please help me! I could really use it!

I was just looking around for you. I've never before realized how tricky is is to find a song that is both "cute, fun, perky" and "alto". Good grief! Maybe these?

"Popular" from Wicked (if you have the score or can wait for the sheet music book)
"If Momma Was Married" from Gypsy (although it is a duet)
"When You're A Copa Girl" from Copacabana is an BRILLIANT gem in a relatively dim score.
"My Strongest Suit" from Aida
