Mag, are you only interested in musicals, or do you like straight plays, too?
At this rate, though, I don't know if you'll be wanting to see too many new shows. You might want to see all your favourite pre-existing shows before they decide to up and close as well.

Posted: 10/27/08 at 7:01pmI personally really like "A Tale of Two Cities," but it's been getting pretty bad reviews (even though audience reception is generally good), so I'm worried it won't last much longer on Broadway. The cast is outstanding, and if you like Les Miserables or "Scarlet Pimpernel," you might like ATOTC.

If you go on the official Tale of Two Cities musical website: http://www.talemusical.com/ you can download two of the songs from the concept album for free, and listen to short samples of the other songs. You can also buy the concept recording (changes have been made, in both content and cast, but it's still good, and it doesn't look like it's very likely that there'll be a real Broadway cast recording).
By the way, on another thread, you asked who James Barbour is. He's the Snapish looking guy with the green five-o-clock shadow on the main page of the "Tale of Two Cities" website. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful singer, and I believe he deserves the Tony, but... well, his personal life is a little iffy. He got out of jail not too long ago for having sex with a fifteen-year-old girl.
