Hey- so I had tix to the first preview of n2n, but my bus was over three hours late getting into NYC from MD. I called the box office and they said I could past-date by calling the box office after 11 am the day I want to go, and they can decide if they will honor them that night (only Tues-Thurs shows). I have the opportunity to go back to the city May 5th, but am worried about buying bus and hotel reservations and then calling the box office and them saying I can't go (I think it only happens if it's sold out). I also think that night's performance will be exciting because Tony noms are announced that day... and I'm obsessed with the cast album and am dying to see this show. Sooo...
should I take my chances on past-dating (I basically threw away $140 the first time and am a poor college kid)OR buy tix again to guarantee seeing the show?

I think if they won't honor it, that would mean it was sold out and TKTS wouldn't be an option.
I don't know Harpz... How early would you have to make arrangements. You could keep an eye on telecharge and see what happens, where the available seats are, etc. If you can wait until a few days before to make plans to travel and the seats are still good, go for it. If they're selling quickly, you'd proabaly have your answer.

Yeah... but I feel like I'm being paranoid and of course it'll be annoying to buy tix and then finding out I didn't have to... aah- thanks jordangirl- I'll do that.

Posted: 4/16/09 at 12:47pmHarpz--I'm not sure of your logistics, but if you are a poor college kid, you should definitely consider doing student rush for the show as a backup, unless you can't get there to wait in line for that...it's hard to imagine a weekday performance of N2N is going to be totally sold out, even with the NY Times' rave.
