I'm shocked that there hasn't been any promotional footage released.

I'm going to see it when it comes to Pittsburgh! I keep checking back on this thread to see what other people are saying about it. This soundtrack has been the only thing playing in my car for the last month and a half haha.
If I didn't believe in you
We'd never have gotten this far
If I didn't believe in you
And all of the ten thousand women you are
If I didn't think you could do
Anything you ever wanted to
If I wasn't certain that you'd come through somehow
THe fact of the matter is, Cathy
I wouldn't be standing here now

I saw the show on the Tuesday after it opened, and the place was packed. I can't remember the last time I saw that on a Tuesday.
The audience was hooked from the opening notes and the cast was perfection.
The set was not swallowed at all by the theatre.
The only thing negative was that the high note at the end of I'M ALIVE. It was was strained and the performer cracked.
I looking forward to seeing it again.

I've "heard" Curt's "I'm Alive" and his last note isn't as good as Aaron's, Brian's, or Kyle's. Kyle's last note in "I'm Alive" is perfection.

Saw the show last week, row BB, close but didn't miss anything......was cool to see the actors so closely. Ripley was amazing, didn't realize she teared up through the show....not sure how someone turns that on over and over. Natalie was great........I wasn't as fond of Asa as I'd wished...he seemed flat and distant until the very end of act one....but overall the show is in great shape and I look forward to catching another tour date. Standing ovation....

All 6 times I saw Alice as Diana on broadway she cried and it was amazing how she could do it each time. How was Curt as Gabe?

Alice was struggling a bit when I saw it last week. She started off a little shakey, eventually got her footing, but was just screaming by the end of the show.
The cast, as a whole, was awesome, though:
Emma Hunton kicks ass as Natalie. She's also SO different from Jenn Damiano which I appreciate. She steals the show. The best vocals come from her and her acting choices were phenomenal.
Preston Sadleir was a much wittier Henry and he played him a lot "quicker" than Adam Chandler-Berat. He was a wonderful actor with a nice voice. Definitely the weakest vocalist, though.
Asa Somers is the hottest Dan ever.
Curt Hansen is also gorgeous.
Two questions; was anyone there on December 15th when I saw it? After the bows, Alice walked off stage with this creepy grin on her face with her head slightly tilted. Does she do that often?
And, has Pearl Sun gone on yet?

I saw it on Friday the 17th, and Ripley was in fine form... forgot to mention, Emma really plays natalie in a different fashion than others before...she seems really pained (some may say angry), but she is very very good. There were a few words where she mumbled though. Her relationship with henry was very sweet (he was excellent, too). To me, that show, the weakest part was Asa, perhaps because he seemed checked out a bit (until the end).

provocation-
I've seen the show LOTS of times, and Alice seems to do that a lot. Every now and then, she'll throw out a grin, but I think that after a grueling 2 hours of being Diana, she's still her...and coming down from that character. The amazing thing about Alice is that from beginning to end of that show, you are with Diana. Also, interestingly, I've seen her on a Tuesday and again two days later. On that Tuesday she'll sound strained and a little off, then on Thurs she'll sound powerful and clean. I think sometimes Alice chooses, on purpose certain notes and nuances when she sings that may come accross as "pitchy" or a little hoarse but that's her Diana on that particular night. Her acting is always amazing and she definitely gives 100% each time.
