My community theatre group decided to do Beauty and the Beast over the summer. But, true to form, Disney has proven to be a monumental pain in the ass, so we are no longer doing their version, but an original one that opened around the same time.
Does anyone know where I could find info and/or reviews on the show?

Posted: 8/16/05 at 3:06amThe music was wirtten by Michael Heinzsch, lyrics by Anne Stanley. The book was written by Anne S, Alex H. Urban, and Alison Bretches. The show opened just before Disney's did in 1994.

I am currently doing a non-disney BATB but I don't have my script with me to check the writers.

My show never made a cast recording when it opened, so it'll be like doing an original musical.
Jacob, my opening song is sung by the character Elipsis, and it's called "Enjoy The Show"
