I just want to say I am quite dissapointed to see no nomination for Frank Langella's stellar work in "A Man For All Seasons." The same goes for the wonderful Jayne Atkinson in the revival of "Blithe Spirit."

The bottom line with the plays and play revivals was that the nominating committee decided to basically forget about any of the closed shows and primarily nominate the currently running shows.

With the exception of the DIVIDING THE ESTATE nomination, along with Hallie Foote's nod, and Raul Esparza's nod, the rest of the nominees are from currently running shows.

It's too bad, because we has such worthy productions and performances from limited runs that are long closed, and the committee just decided to forget them altogether. Really too bad.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."
