Posted: 3/20/05 at 8:54pmi thought it was amazing,outstanding actually,set,costumes ,everytrhing there was nothing wrong with it to the least amount i love it.My freind was in it too so that made it even better for me.The whole thing was amazing,and ythe director what a mastermind that man was SO CREATIVE.

I can't complain about any of the three different productions I've seen: Promenade Theatre - 1984, Chicago Shakespeare - 2002 and RoundaboutTheatreCompany - 2005.
I do admire the work of Amon Miyamoto.
He's a great choreographer/director.

Yes, Children Will Listen was one of the only performances I thought was weak.
Pacific Overtures was fantastic. It was great to hear the score in a theater.

Posted: 3/20/05 at 9:48pmalthough many i know didnt like PO revival (try the Sondheim board) i loved it so much! brilliant staging by Amon and one of Sondheims better, softer scores
