There is no alternate for the Phantom, only Christine. And the Phantom understudy is Laird Mackintosh who plays Monsieur André.

There are three other Phantom understudies. Jeremy Stolle, Paul A Schaefer, and Greg Mills. (All of whom also actually understudy Raoul)
