Does anyone know the exact date that Phantom takes over as the longest running Broadway show? I want to try to get tickets if I can.

That would be January 9, 2006 and, yes, some sort of special show is planned.
At this point, there aren't any tickets for sale. Well, a pair were offered at the Broadway Care auction at the flea market back in September. But...as of now...I hear it's invitation only.
