Hello All,
I am about to purchase tkts to Phantom. Just curious. Would you recommend purchasing front mezz, or orchestra. Just didn't know since some action happens above the stage, if its better to sit in the mezz.
Please help me out !
thanks all!!!

It depends on where you sit in the orchestra. I sat towards the rear of the orchestra, under the mezzanine. As a result, the top of the stage was cut off, and I missed some stuff, like part of the chandelier falling, etc. I sat in the mid-mezzanine the third time I saw it, and I could see so much more of the stage, and the occurences on top of it.
So it depends on where in the orchestra. But I would say front mezzanine, to answer your question.

At the Majestic, if you want to sit orchestra...no further back than about Row N or so because of the overhang. Front Mezz is amazing too. I like sitting close because you can see everyone's expressions. But sitting further back is nice too because you get the whole perspective of the show.

len1003 I prefer center orchestra or front mezzaine! Personally I would pick Mezzanine, best seats in the house I think if you want to see a full view

Are you going to see 'Phantom' in Vegas or 'Phantom of the Opera' in New York?
Sigh, I can't believe the two different names.
