I know that pretty much all of the seats at this theatre are good seats. I was just wondering what people's opinions were. Would you rather sit closer up but in the center on the side seats (like G108 or 508, etc.) or be farther up but on the aisle of the side section (like M101 or 501, etc.) Can someone please give me their opinions... thanx. I'm trying to figure out which seats to get.

In my personal opinion I enjoy the left hand side of the theatre... I think its perfect because the actors have a tendency to go towards the left side of the stage. I would probably reccommend the left center section, that way you have the view of everything. From the choices you have, I would definitely go with the M101 or G108. Honestly, between the two, I think I would choose M101 only because G108 is so much towards the left that I think the set would start to block your view of the performers and of the show itself. What date are you going that the seats are so different?
I hope that helps...

Are you talking about the loge? Technically there is no mezz for the Vivian Beaumont.
It seems that almost any seats at the Vivian Beaumont are pretty good, but if I had the choice: choose the left over the right.

we sat upstairs in the center, and it was the perfect place to appreciate the wonderful staging of this show ... the movement of the actors, the set pieces, and the lighting changes are all beautiful from up there! not to mention the tickets were cheaper
I think either set of seats would be great. The theater is fantastic...it feels very intimate and I can't believe there is a bad seat.
I was in the front row, C101, just behind the conductor/orchestra pit. I have no complaints about where I sat; I usually love sitting as close as possible. Although, before the show began my heart sunk a little...I was sitting exactly in front of a thick column on the stage and thought my view would be blocked during the show. But when the show began the column parted and Victoria Clark walked through toward my direction to begin the show. The view of everyone throughout the show was great.
However, afterward I stood in one of the last few rows - in the 101 area. I think I would have preferred to sit there to get a broader view. Enjoy the show!

Since it appears most people prefer the left side, which is better C103 or H209?
Thanks.
I would pick H209 to give you a broader view. But C103 is good.

I sat C102... and I absolutely loved it. I could see everything perfectly, especially because the actors were in front of me a lot. Honestly, either sets of seats are fine. I have also sat in G214, but I think I preferred C102. I felt more connected to the actors because I was closer, but I like being as close to the stage as possible. [I think this is a matter of personal preference... how close you like to be to the stage, because you can see great with either seat]
