i posted one of them already, it's on the first page of this thread entitled "I dance much better alone"
here's my other one...
Oblivious
It’s funny how you think you know
Everything about me,
But you leave little room to grow.
Seasons did come and go
Since the last time that you did see
But it’s funny how you think you know.
I have changed, this I know,
But you refuse to let me be.
And you leave little room to grow.
And so you see you’ve reached a low,
For you can’t see inside of me.
But it’s funny how you think you know.
I never thought you were my foe
But revelations let me see
That you leave little room to grow.
Change can’t be stopped, it must go
So don’t try to stop the change in me
It’s funny how you think you know
Yet still leave little room to grow.

Her face.
She cared not about the world around her.
All she was concerned with
Was the rhythm of the rain
On the cobblestone road.
Yelling could be heard in the distance
But the little girl pretended not to hear
She was much too busy
Examining the puddles
To be bothered
By the adults’ problems.
When the rain subsided the little girl s l o w l y
Walked home.
Stopping
At her front door
To pick up the pieces

That lay on her doorstep.
