pop/rock/gospel songs for auditions

Hey, I might go to a Rent audition and a few other rock/pop musical auditions in the future. Just wondering, what are suggestions for good pop - rock or soulful songs for a baritone? it seems like a lot of this type of music is very tenory

Pop - Beautiful by Christina
Gospel - His Eye is on the Sparrow (traditional) or I hope you dance (leann womack)...okay I know this is country music but its also inspirational music and you can really rock it ...make it more soulful.

what about "I Still Believe" or "I'll be there" -mariah/jackson 5...

or "What's up?" by 4 non blondes. i know these are mostly sung by females, but i think if its an octave lower i could rock it

Just sing something fun for you that shows off your rock/pop/gospel/funk voice that will sound good with just piano.

i don't know why i can't figure a song out lol. it has to sound good acapella, but they mihgt ask me to sing it with piano. i dont have high ass notes (but i do havea pretty good falsetto) any more suggestions?

No one can help you find a song really. Not unless we know you and your type and voice etc. You have to go through your fave music and find out what you sound good on.
