Thank you for sharing. I think that if the director wants to warn the audience, they should mention the REAL consequences of doing the actions that are not wanted during a performance. Some people can just be completely rude with cellphones and talking during the show. Hopefully, the ushers can help with that issue if things go out of hand.

I was at a performance of "The Pride" last week and some jerk's phone rang right in the middle of the play's most intense scene. It took them forever to turn the ringer off. I get that sometimes people forget to turn off their phones, but I just want to ring their necks when it happens. And it always seems to be someone who can't figure out where they even left their phone, so it keeps ringing and ringing... It is rude to the audience and the performers. That one person is hurting the experience of every single ticket buyer in the theater. They should have to pay a fine.
