Posted: 7/28/05 at 9:57amI watched Chicago movie first then watched the stage version. Thus it surprised me that they are so different, especially the choeography. since I have never seen the original version, my question is which choeography (movie or the revival) is closer to Bob Fosse's original work. In original version, how did he deal with " cell block tango", because this is the most different part between movie ans stage.

Posted: 7/28/05 at 10:17amwell, the revival is almost pure Fosse--Ann Reinking credits him in the playbill. And the Hot Honey Rag is exactly the same as the original...much of the other choreo. throughout the show is a sampling of other shows, like charity, pippin...you see alot of the same moves...
