I was just curious for those that have seen Jennifer Hope Wills as Christine, what did you think of her performance?? Thanks

I saw her last week and she is by far the best Christine I've seen in all my years of going to The Phantom. I've seen the Canadian company several times, the touring company twice and the Broadway cast a handful also, but Wills' performance, especially when paired with the incomparable Howard McGillin (who IS the Phantom for me) is truly inspired and not to be missed. She is one of the most unaffected Christine's I have seen. Her Christine is very believable AND she looks the proper age for the part, which I think is key in truly appreciating the stakes.

I have seen Jennifer and she is absolutely brillant in the part. Her voice is gorgeous but doesn't take the attention away from the from the character the way other Christines I've seen seem to do, and her acting is top-noch. She is also one of the sweetest people I have ever meet.

Very curious... Last I heard Jennifer was going to be the Christine alternate on Broadway. But, I just checked the official show website and Julie Hanson is the Christine alternate on Broadway and Jennifer is on tour as the principle Christine. When did this change occur?

Jennifer IS the Christine alternate on Broadway. The official site is always a step behind in updating its cast list. Jen was the principle on the US tour for 10 weeks this summer, but she is now back on Broadway as the alternate. IMO she should be the principle on Broadway.

Well, she only did the tour for ten weeks because she just got married... I'm sure it's a contractual thing that prevents her from being principle on Broadway (right now, anyway)...

But yes, I agree with everyone. She's incredible.

Best Christine ever and probably the sweetest person you will ever meet. When I saw her on tour in Phantom, she took me on a backstage tour and showed me all the awesome props etc. She is deinitely worth a visit to the Majestic.
