Hey whatever happened to Lea Salonga and Wicked? In her Carnegie Hall concert last year she mentioned that she wanted to be in Wicked. She sang Defying Gravity and Popular in her concert.

AnaGFan, Lea did mention something about that but according to her agent, she really couldn't do it because of the pregnancy back then. And now, she seems to be quite busy in Asia. There was a rumor of an Asian production so, we'll see what happens to that rumor.

I am not sure about the Fantine rumor, though I am sure she will be great if it is true. I did write a message to her, on her blog, asking about the rumor. Lea hasn't said anything yet, though I imagine she will when/if there is anything worth saying when she is able.
