Anyone know who the cast was? I heard Andrea Martin was in one.
Thank You

there was two main workshops of seussical, although at one time eric idle was the cat(and co author) in readings...basically all the stars of bway were in the workshops the last workshop in 2000 at the richard rodgers had all of broadway cast - a couple ensemble....andrea martin dropped out because she wanted to do 6mos contract, and producers wanted no less then year...this is true contrary to popular belief...the buzz of the workshops was great and it was a project u wanted to be attached too but then as it got closer to bosten it all went down hill...but to answer question michele pawk, janine lamanna, kevin chamberlin, andrea martin, and andrew keenan-bolger were at the march 2000 workshop.

"...the buzz of the workshops was great..."

As William Goldman has written, "Nobody in show business knows anything."

Music man, did you lose out a project to ahrens and flaherty or something? You seem to take thrill out of going after their projects...did they not cast you or something?

Sorry, cutie, but I can't support your hypothesis.

I'm an equal-opportunity critic, as my numerous posts will affirm.

lol just wondering music man, not making a dig or anything..trying to grasp onto your reasoning. Everyone had their own tastes. So many people ask you what shows you like....Im interested in what shows you dont..BTW looking for pointsin common, not arguments..lol

Music man whether you agree or not it was very much anticipatedand tlaked about....that is why it got a lot of coverage during its shaky begining.....many showshave promise at workshops or tryouts then fail on broadway.....and many have worse tryouts then seussical and get no press about it...
