Does any know how long it usually takes for a successful musical to release a vocal selections book or score? I'm wondering in general, but most specifically at the moment about "Spring Awakening." Thanks!

I myself can't give you a solid number (so I'd also like to know if anyone knows the typical amount of time), but don't hold your breath. It seems to me that it's usually quite a few months. As in I still haven't heard a thing about Drowsy vocal selections, and that opened in the spring.

My understanding is the usual time is about six months, but I imagine it depends on a lot of things.
