Right now Kelly Ripa is singing "and I'm telling you" for some american idol type thing, turn it on!
not really, it was almost laughable, but she did a decent job.
Well, that certainly answered our question as to if Kelly could take over for Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda. NOPE!! lol
Carol Burnett was smart to turn down the judging offer. Claudia Cohen annoys me so much. What the heck did she keep doing with her hand? It looked like she was trying to be some kind of rock and roll person. She reminds me of the Chucky doll from Child's Play.
That was her Randy Jackson interpretive dance move...
ewww really? Sad.
How about Kelly replacing Kristin in "Wicked" ?

she sang hello dolly on hope and faith tonight!!! she sounded pretty good:) i think with a vocal coach she would be good in wicked as glinda!!
Oh dear... I think they should have someone that knows what theyre doing 100% to be put in as Glinda. Sorry, its just a role that needs the WHOLE SCHBANG to be "wicked".

There should be a law against white chicks singing "And I Am Telling You..."
Jon, I'm going to have to totally agree with you!
Unless it happens to be the girl in Camp...because I think she was pretty good (don't attack me)
That wasn't really Kelly singing on Hope and Faith. She was doing a dream sequence where she was dressed as Dolly Levi, and she was lip-synching to someone else's voice because in her (well, her character's) mind she had to sound good. When she snapped back to reality and actually attempted the song, she wasn't very good.
That's what made it funny.
Actually, Littledancer729, now that you mention it she's the one exception to the law. I did like her version.
Ya, I would agree with you if she hadn't sounded like an over-loading machine screeching until the veins in her neck popped out.
Just my thought. I hated that movie...good production numbers, awful movie.
