Posted: 9/15/03 at 11:02amI'm trying to track down a few names of big Broadway figures (actors, directors, producers, anything) who have been particularly involved in philanthropic endeavours (specifically related to education/educational reform, though that might be narrowing my field too much). I have no clue where to even start looking--does anyone happen to know of any names off the top of their head?

Posted: 9/15/03 at 11:10amWell, some stars like Nathan Lane or Bernadette have special charities...Bernadette for example started "Broadway Barks" with Mary Tyler Moore. In my experience, though, I've noticed that most Broadway stars are pretty loyal to BCEFA and other Actors' Equity projects.
