Hi all,

I am coming in to see Mandy and Patti. As I don't know Toronto at all, can anyone give me a suggestion as to where to eat dinner?

I will second Le Saint Tropez! One of my favorite places in the entire city to dine. Also, even though it's a chain (small chain, only Ontario/GTA I believe) I do love Milestones on John Street just north of King. I used to live in that neighborhood and frequented both places.

I like the Queen Mother on Queen St. W. Eclectic menu. Service can sometimes be slow.

I had dinner at the Grindhouse Burger Bar, and it was a quiet way to wait for 8pm. :) They had a good selection of beverages if that's an important consideration. I liked their poutine a lot. :)
