hey everybody just got a quick question for you all.I know the rights for a show usually aren't released until far into the shows run or when it closes, but I was wondering if anybody knew when the rights to "Brooklyn: the musical" and "Whistle Down the Wind" were going to come out? I know Brooklyn just closed a few monthes ago, so I could see why it isn't out yet...but Whitle down the wind has been closed for a number of years...anybody got any info? thanks!

There is an enquiry form for general performance rights on the Really Useful website, might be worth checking there for WDTW.

The Rodgers&Hammerstein organization have the whistle down the wind rights. Skip the middle man and go straight here http://rnh.com/theatricals/show.php?show_id=69

It's the version from the '93 NYMT festival, not the Andrew Lloyd Webber - Jim Steinman musical. As far as I know, the rights are not available to that...

I've heard of people contacting the Really Useful Group about putting it on, and being told they are not available.

I wonder why? Maybe they're still trying for Broadway...
