Posted: 3/16/05 at 10:38amI saw the second half of the interview. She spoke about her new movie, Sin City, and how she had to kiss Clive Owen. They didn't mention the RENT movie. Maybe they did in the first half of the interview, before commercial break. Did anyone see it?

The President's press conference was on almost the entire hour on all our major network stations. Needless to say, I missed her.

She seemed to have faith in her own abilities, but I sensed the same "other people don't have faith in this project" tone in her as I do in Anthony Rapp. Happy to have the role but unsure of how her performance and the film itself will be received.
There was no doubt in my mind that when Regis asked her "can you really pull this off?" -- in not so many words -- it was a familiar question to her.

Posted: 3/16/05 at 11:44amOh, she also explained that she sang "la la la la" in Josie and the Pussycats. She is hopefully like Renee Zellweger -- just not comfortable performing in public, but destined to be a critical darling(generally speaking) for her acting and singing.
