Hi All, im a new member from the UK.
I need help, im looking for a site potentailly that will tell me the rating of seats in theatres on Broadway. We have a site in the uk, but cant seem to find one for USA.
It would really help as coming over in February and want to look at different theatres. Wanna book tickets for Balcony in Mary Poppins and want to see what is said about them. Can anyone help at all. Many thanks to you all. Have a great day

What do you mean by ratings?

Don't know what you mean by ratings either, but if you're looking for all the NY theater seating charts, try:

http://www.playbill.com/reference/seating/

Scroll down for the NY theaters.

The best I have found is Theatermania.com. For most of the theaters they give a description of the theater and what the best seating area are. Also, Allthatchat.com has a eopinion section that lists the theaters and some peoples reviews of sightlines and comfort.

Balcony seats for Mary Poppins are great. I sat in the balcony twice when The Lion King was at the New Amsterdam theatre, where MP is now, and I had a fabulous view. Even off to the side.

Enjoy the show re: seating in broadway theatres I'm seeing MP next month and I can't wait!

Nothing like Theatremonkey here in the States! I love that site.

For Broadway I use the Playbill site linked above, Google for the theatre organization's site (Nederlander.org has the detailed seat charts for its theaters), or rely on the kindness of others for their opinions! Nothing beats the Monkey, though.
